Lime

Most people would agree that we live in an area where it rains and snows a lot. Chances are, if you have not applied lime recently then you may be in need of it.

What does lime do? Lime changes the PH level of your soil.
Most types of grasses thrive when they have a PH level between 6-7, however here in the Maritime Provinces, most soils typically, if untreated, range well below 6 on the PH scale.

Grass just won’t grow like it should at a low level and weeds love low PH.
The best time to lime is early Spring or Fall.
Lime is actually inexpensive and we can help you out by sourcing and applying the correct amounts.
