Our product is approved by Health Canada and is listed on Health Canada’s website to repel both Mosquitoes and Ticks! It Works!
When you initially spray this product it kills the mosquitoes and chases away the ticks, fleas and gnats. It coats the leaf surface of the grass, ornamentals and lower leaves of the trees with natural sulfur contained in garlic juice and all of these insects, if not initially killed, are repelled from the area by this juice. It also prevents entry of any neighboring mosquitoes that may consider wandering in from next door. Mosquito larvae which were in any standing water in the area are now suffocated by the spray which coats the water’s surface and prevents oxygen from reaching the larvae. The product is odorless to humans, but not to the insects.
A mosquito’s sense of smell is about 10,000 times better than yours and they are able to locate humans because they detect the carbon dioxide given off by us. Our product masks the carbon dioxide odor. If they can’t find you, they can’t bite you and they seek nourishment elsewhere.
In some cases you can smell the product for about 2 hours after spraying. After that only the insects can smell this.
It is not harmful to pets, humans or other animals who might visit your yard.
Spraying lasts for 4-5 weeks depending on the amount of rain we get over that period.
We spray a minimum 3 times, staring the end of May. If you sprayed the end of May and did the 3 sprayings, that would get you until the end of August. Most home owners would do an additional late fall spray so that mosquitoes & ticks do not winterize in their yard.
Sprayings start at $125 per spray for a small cottage or town lot.
Medium lots start around $160 per spray, large lots $200 and extra-large $250+.
Most residential town lawns fall in the area of Medium, some fall into the large category.
Out of town lawns over 1 acre fall into the extra-large category.
